Die Kinder vom Napf Movie Review
Idyll of children growing up in a Swiss village.
It is still dark, and gradually distinguish the outline of a group of children. They are on their way to the village school and make it on foot, by cable car or by bus. Most children come from farms where village Romos largely composed. Available only in Switzerland this type of farming communities under pressure. More and more people are leaving the city and difficult to 800 people still maintain all facilities in the village.
Etre et avoir
Filmmaker Alice Schmid continued his film debut a few years a large group of children in this mountain village. We see the season aside, know the parents, living on the farm, playing in the beautiful nature and a lot of animals and walking outdoors. Is this movie conceptual Etre et avoir as successful (2002), in which grade school in a small French village followed one year. Here the problem is reduced small community is not shy and have a tangible link with the children who attended.
very beautiful
Unfortunately, it is in Kinder vom Napf not happen. The first manufacturer can decide the number of children they want to pursue. Therefore, all fixed surface piercing what. In addition, life becomes very ideal. Beautiful scenery, lush playing in nature, romantic peasant life, everything is nice and thin. As noted in the village of declining school population there is a problem in the long run, but it's in the back of the movie. Instead, it is done for folk dances by children, pets always allow more and there are literally lots of cakes baked. Children may know; Alice Schmid specifically shown here has been busy.
weight
Through this approach, and luck is a film that is very oppressive. Because you can never fall on fears and bitter reality. Most recently, for example, is the most interesting children in a mountain village and a more interesting movie premiere: Sister (or L'Enfant d'en Haut). The film is completely different, but one that catches your eye, surprising and touching. A film that separates more than pretty pictures and interesting soundtrack. Yes.
conclusion
Kinder vom Napf is a film that is almost ideal farmer's life in a Swiss village, though soon the problem. Cookies and folk dance, play in the grass and various pets. Provide, from time to time, especially oppressive thoughts. Where is the other side of this story? Alice Schmid apparently away on the other side of the hill.
